Kate Turner
A dedicated advocate for youth and community, Kate has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to supporting youth organizations on the Sunshine Coast. With her leadership and support, she has played a pivotal role in fostering environments where children and youth can thrive through sport and art. As a parent to four young athletes, Kate is deeply passionate about ensuring that these developmental opportunities are accessible to all families in the community. Her efforts continue to enrich the lives of many, helping to build a supportive and vibrant community on the Sunshine Coast.
Ashley Martin
Ashley Martin has a background in education and brings valuable experience and mentorship in navigating arts grants and application writing. Her daughter grew up dancing on the Sunshine Coast and is now performing with prominent ballet companies in the USA. Ashley’s insight from her own daughter's experience and dedication to supporting the next generation of young dancers on the Sunshine Coast make her a wonderful asset to the Foundation and the broader arts community. "As I continue to support Natalie on her dance journey, I look forward to helping other Sunshine Coast youth pursue their goals and aspirations in the ballet world".
Johanna Waldorf
As a professional dancer, and the owner and Artistic Director of Waldorf Ballet, Johanna brings a lifelong dedication to the performing arts. From her experience as both an artist and mother, she understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of pursuing a career in dance. Johanna is deeply committed to sharing her knowledge and passion with the next generation, and to building a strong, supportive community that helps young artists grow and thrive throughout every stage of their training and careers.
